Released in the USA in 1989 and here in the UK in 1990 "Opposites Attract" became Paula's biggest single to date reaching Number 2. Featuring vocals from The Wild Pair (Bruce DeShazer & Marv Gunn) the single was a worldwide smash hit. Reaching number 1 in Australia, Canada & The USA and the top 5 in New Zealand, Norway & The Netherlands. Other singles released by American Idol judge Paula Abdul include "Rush Rush", "Straight Up", "Vibeology" & "My Love Is For Real"
