Taken from her 7th studio album, "Rubberband Girl" is one of 4 singles from "The Red Shoes" album. It was released in 1993 and reached number 12 in the UK singles chart. It was the first single to be released from Kate since her contribution to the Elton John album "Two Rooms" in which she released "Rocket Man". She has released 35 singles in her 35 year music career & 10 studio albums. Other songs released by Kate include "Wuthering Heights", "Babooshka", "Running Up That Hill", "Cloudbusting", "Don't Give Up" (a duet with Peter Gabriel) & "King Of The Mountain".
