In 1972 Puff Johnson was born in Detroit, Michigan. She emerged on the music scene with her debut single "Forever More", which was a top 30 hit in the USA, UK & Australia. She is more famously known for providing the song from the 1997 movie soundtrack "The First Wives Club". This was a number 20 hit song in the UK. Puff Johnson died in June 2013, aged 40.
