Music Monday ~ Bruce Springsteen

The Streets Of Philadelphia

Released in 1994, and taken from the movie soundtrack "Philadelphia" this became Bruce's biggest UK hit to date, reaching number 2 in the UK chart. The single only reached number 9 in the US Billboard Hot 100. The film features Tom Hanks as a lawyer who contracts the deadly disease AIDS, and features talent including Denzel Washington, Antonio Banderas & Ann Dowd. Other songs released by "The Boss" include "Hungry Heart", "Dancing In The Dark", "Born In The U.S.A.", "Secret Garden" & "Human Touch".
