Bitter Sweet Symphony
Released in 1997, and taken from their album "Urban Hymns", The Verve reached number 2 in the chart with "Bitter Sweet Symphony". The video features lead singer Richard Ashcroft walking down a busy London road, refusing to move his stride or change his direction. By the end of the video the whole group join Richard and they "walk off into the sunset". Other songs to be released by the British rock group include "This Is Music", "On Your Own", "History", "Love Is Noise" & their only UK number 1 single "The Drugs Don't Work".
