Music Monday ~ Lonnie Gordon

Happenin' All Over Again

Released 25 years ago today, and taken from Lonnie's debut album "If I Have To Stand Alone", this song was written by British Pop royalty Stock, Aitken & Waterman. The single managed to reach number 4 in the UK charts. Originally written for Donna Summer (and it does indeed sound like something she would sing when she signed with the trio), Lonnie recorded the song after a fallout between Donna & the producers. Other songs released by Lonnie include "Beyond Your Wildest Dreams", "Gonna Catch You", "Love Eviction" & "If You Really Love Me".
