As this is the last weekend before Christmas, I thought I would take this opportunity to publish my Music Monday, with a Christmas Number 1 from the 90's (as my blog is a 90's Music Monday). Some might laugh at this choice, other might think I'm a genius. Me, I think it's funny to show the world just the sort of music, us Brits like to buy at this time of year to win the coverted title of "Christmas Number 1". Mr. Blobby is a character from Noel Edmonds's 90's TV Show "Noel's House Party". The single was released in November 1993, and reached number 1 on the 11th December for 1 week. The UK's biggest boy band at the time, Take That, released their single for Christmas titled "Babe" which knocked Mr. Blobby off the top spot on the 18th December. Most famously, the following week, this song reclaimed the top spot to become the Christmas Number 1 for 1993.

    I thought this was funny but I quite liked the song but seeing Mr Blobby again makes me laugh you just can't help but smile LOL
